What Studying 3D Modeling Taught Me About Creative Writing

Studying 3D modeling taught me that creative freedom does not mean creative recklessness. From designing a creature that belonged within its fictional world to writing characters who earn their place in a story, my game-development coursework became an unexpected foundation for my creative writing.
